We think it’s about time we let you put a real face to the name by introducing another one of our quirky avatars.
Our people are at the core of Escone’s success, and we love giving you the opportunity to get to know more about our dedicated team who are committed to supporting our growing client base.
You have met Kev, Douglas, Alice, Sam, Ewan, Mike, and Jodie, now it is time to meet Leon Mackenzie – our Application Support Apprentice.
Tell us about your current role?
My role as an application support apprentice consists of responding to tickets that come in through our helpdesk, assisting with various projects and helping the team where needed. Each day brings a new challenge and certainly keeps me on my toes!
What do you enjoy most about the work you do?
I find it extremely rewarding to help people – whether that be assisting on the helpdesk, working on projects, or supporting the team.
How do you think your colleagues see you?
As much as I want to say the greatest person to ever exist, they would most likely see me as an upbeat, hardworking, and cheery individual who can be quiet at times but really chatty once out of their shell. They also might wonder how I am able to drink so much tea in such a short amount of time…
Tell us something you learned in the last week? (Work or personal related)
The world’s longest game of chess went on for over 20 hours with over 239 moves. I now feel a lot better about how long I play for!
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
When I am not working, I’m playing a game of chess, hanging out with my friends, doing some window shopping or having my head deep into a book… My current read is ‘Dear Martin’ by Nic Stone, I’m really enjoying it so far!
