Aberdeen-based business applications support firm Escone Solutions has strengthened its Senior Leadership Team with the promotion of Amanda Forsyth.
Amanda, who joined Escone’s helpdesk support team in 2022 as a Business Applications Support Analyst, was appointed Support Lead overseeing the Escone Assist team in April 2023. Her promotion to the four-strong Senior Leadership Team continues her progression within the company.
Meanwhile, Alice Cassie, one of Escone’s longest serving members of the team, has become Head of Consultancy. Alice joined Escone almost seven years ago as a Graduate from Robert Gordon University. During her time with the company, she has worked her way through the ranks earning several promotions along the way.
Both appointments reflect Amanda and Alice’s ongoing contribution to the company as it continues to expand its business and its team across both the North-east and the rest of the UK.
Co-founded in 2015 by Directors Mike Charles and Kevin Wyness, the company’s headcount has risen to 14, with four new appointments in the past year alone, resulting in a recent move to a larger, more appropriate office premises.
Earlier this year, Escone announced a raft of new and renewed business contracts worth more than £500,000, boosting Escone’s growth plans for its client portfolio across a range of sectors, including transport, food and drink, and housing, as well as oil and gas.
Mike said: “Amanda and Alice are both very important and valued members of Escone’s team, contributing hugely both to the ongoing growth of the business, and the strong, meaningful relationships we have built over the years with our clients.
“They both bring new ideas and fresh perspectives to their respective roles, and we are delighted that their dedication to the team and Escone has been rewarded.”
