Escone Solutions has launched a new Consultancy Division to offer more solution-based services in response to an increasing number of clients reassessing their business support needs.
Established in Aberdeen in 2015, the business application firm provides clients with application helpdesk support, system implementation, organisational change, and strategic planning as well as application solutions and software development.
The new Escone Consultancy Division is the latest expansion in the company’s services and coincides with a management restructure in line with strategic growth plans.
Escone Solutions Co-Founder and Director Kevin Wyness said, “To meet the demands of our growing client base, we recognised the requirement for a dedicated Consultancy Division, combined with a company restructure. By promoting from within, we are strengthening our in-house capabilities and specialising in wider areas where we have the expertise to build for Escones future.”
“We are extremely proud of our experienced team for playing a huge part in Escone’s success to date. We work as a team to make it our number one priority to give clients insight and support to allow them to be as productive as they can be.
“This new Consultancy Division is a very exciting next step for Escone, and we look forward to supporting our clients on a greater scale to cement our position at the forefront of the business application support market.”
Bridget Gray will take on the role of Head of Consulting. She brings a wealth of experience having worked in the field of IT support for 21 years. Bridget has managed the Escone Assist helpdesk operations and support function since 2016. Bridget will coordinate the running of Escone’s new consultancy service and manage and mentor Business Analysts internally.
“Bridget has been instrumental in our journey and we are delighted she will be leading this new division,” continued Kevin. “As a former end-user of our products, Bridget can relate to the customer experience. This empathy will benefit both our clients and Bridget’s team”.
Working alongside Bridget as part of the restructured management team will be Alice Emmison, who will step into the role of eBIS and Operations Lead.
Alice is one of the longest-serving employees at Escone and will be primarily responsible for eBIS projects. Alice’s role focuses on supporting clients’ day to day requirements.
“Alice has become an expert in the life-cycle of eBIS development and also shown leadership skills within the team, culminating in her new role”.
“Recruiting from within is an initiative we pride ourselves on and we are delighted that this approach is paying off and I congratulate both Bridget and Alice on their continued development as dedicated professionals.”
The two new promotions places four women in lead roles at Escone Solutions with Bridget and Alice joining Jodie Donald as Support Lead and Kay Chan as Intuitive Lead.
