Alice Cassie

Head of Consultancy

Alice has one of the longest tenures at Escone and has been instrumental in our journey so far. She heads up the eBIS side of the business, supporting client's day-to-day requirements, as well as co-ordinating and carrying out project work.

Away from work, Alice is an active individual who can be found working out in the gym or walking her dog around Aberdeenshire. She also enjoys socialising with friends.

Amanda Forsyth

Support Lead

Amanda joined our helpdesk support team in 2022. Coming from an accounts and financial background she has brought a lot of expertise to the Escone team. Amanda has since stepped up to the role of Support Lead overseeing the Escone Assist team.

Outside of work, you will find Amanda spending time with her family and dog as well as singing in a pop choir and catching up with friends.

Darren Simpson

Business Applications Consultant

Darren does a bit of everything around here. As a member of the consultancy team, he manages client projects, works on end-to-end process analysis and scoping and testing, as well as general support. Another friendly face around Escone, Darren has been with us since 2018. He is also a dog parent, as well as a big music and football fan.

Fun fact – he was standing behind the French goal when James McFadden scored that wonder goal!

Kay Nicol

Head of Customer Development

Kay is our dashboard master. She is the main port of call in Escone, working with our partner Intuitive to create dashboard suites such as Finance BI for our clients. An excellent all-rounder, Kay also helps with support tickets and project work.

Outside of work, Kay can be found working on her classic Mini, as well as keeping active. She inspires us all at Escone to keep fit, and regularly participates in Tough Mudder challenges as well as cycling and CrossFit.

Kayla Ingram

Business Applications Support Analyst

Kayla joined Escone in 2023 straight out of school, coming through the apprenticeship route and has hit the ground running. Joining the Escone Assist team, Kayla is already assisting our clients with their issues.

When not helping clients on our helpdesk, Kayla can be found meeting up with friends or hitting the shops in Aberdeen.

Kevin Wyness

Director & Co-Founder

Co-founder of Escone Solutions, Kevin has been here from the start of this wild ride. In fact, he built the roller-coaster! A lover of Rugby Union, Muay Thai, dog walks with Haggis and a Gin & Irn Bru, Kevin certainly is a character around Escone. Involved in all areas of the Escone portfolio, he knows how to get the best results for our clients - no matter what sector they operate in.

Leon Mackenzie

Business Application Support Analyst

Leon joined Escone Solutions in 2021 as an apprentice. Since his arrival on the team, he has grown massively and is now a key component in our Escone Assist helpdesk. Leon is part of our front-line support to clients and provides first class help to our client base.

In his spare time, Leon likes to listen to podcasts and music, read whatever has caught his attention, and plays chess when he can.

Lewis Crawford

Business Applications Consultant

Lewis is one of our first responders and Finance BI experts, being on the front line and a key part in the process of helping resolve queries and completing tickets. Lewis joined Escone in 2021, and has since developed within his role, to the point that he has already been involved in delivering project work.

Footy fan Lewis likes to keep busy by either playing football, gaming, or spending time with friends and family.

Mike Charles

Director & Co-Founder

Co-founder of Escone Solutions, Mike has helped build the company from the ground up. Known for his infectious enthusiasm and dedication, Mike is a master of detail, creating a collaborative work environment for the team and he can usually be found helping to resolve customer tickets.

Outside of work, Mike is a devoted family man, an avid supporter of Aberdeen FC, and is known for his love of Green Tea. To keep fit, Mike is a regular at the gym and is currently training for Hyrox events.

Sam Michie

Business Applications Consultant

Sam is one of Escone's in-house eBIS experts and is heavily involved in eBIS projects from the initial scope to the build, test, and implementation. Sam also works with our clients to make sure that their project needs are exactly what they want them to be.

Socially, Sam enjoys spending time with friends and family whether that's going for food or drinks. If you need to know anything about The Simpsons, Sam is your girl!

Sarah Hafil

Business Applications Support Analyst

Sarah joined the Escone Solutions team in 2023, bringing with her a huge amount of experience and knowledge. With a career spanning more than 20 years, Sarah is well versed with the OpenAccounts and eBIS applications and is helping our customers better their applications and processes.

In her spare time, Sarah loves watching sport especially football and cricket, as well as taking her dogs for a walk, hot pod yoga, playing badminton and heading to the gym.

Vince Wood

Non-Executive Commercial Director

Vince joined the team in 2022. An experienced operator in the commercial world, he got involved with Escone to help grow and push the company forward.

In his spare time, Vince is an avid sports fan and enjoys long walks in the country with his family.

Katie Monro

Business Applications Consultant

Katie graduated from RGU with a MSc Business Analytics degree in December 2023.

In her spare time she has taken Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Contemporary classes for 20 years with various shows and examinations throughout this time. She is a foodie and enjoys trying out new restaurants. She also enjoys spending time with her dog, watching F1 and going out with her friends.

Aidan is happy to join the Escone Solutions team as a Business Applications Support Analyst.

Luca Hendry

Customer Development Coordinator

Luca joined the business in 2025 straight out of a Business Communications Apprenticeship. Coming into the sales team, he is helping to secure new leads and find new business opportunities, as well as supporting the marketing team with content production.

Outside of work, Luca is an avid Aberdeen FC fan, following the team home and away with his friends. When he is not watching or playing football, he likes to wind down with a film or some video games.

Diptesh Raithatha

Business Applications Consultant

Diptesh joins Escone Solutions as a Business Applications Consultant, bringing his expertise to the Professional Services team.

Kim Grant

Business Support Consultant

Kim joined Escone in March 2024, formerly working with DFS as a Finance Transformation Partner meaning Kim already knew what the team was like, and what Escone represented. Having over 20 years' experience with finance business systems working previously as a manager, business analyst and project manager.

Outside of work Kim enjoys baking, watching sport and spending time with her family and friends.

Max Findlay

Business Development Consultant

Max joined Escone in 2024, being persuaded out of retirement by Kevin and Mike. He brings a wealth of experience with him from previous roles to the team. A management accountant, Max spent 27 years working as an account manager for OneAdvanced as well as having over 30 years of experience with OpenAccounts. He has brought an extensive amount of product knowledge and experience to the team and is a welcome addition. He has worked with Kev and Mike in the past and has known Kev since University days over 40 years ago.

Max moved down to Callander from the Northeast in 2021 but is still an avid Aberdeen FC supporter. He also started curling in 2022 so we might see him in the Olympics yet, in the veteran team of course!!
