We are over the moon to announce that our very own superstar, Jodie Donald, is in the running for the ‘Rising Star’ award at the Northern Star Business Awards 2022!
After joining our team fresh out of school at the ripe young age of 16, Jodie has gone from strength to strength over the last two years. Jodie, now 19, heads up our ‘Escone Assist’ Super User helpdesk and leads a team of 8. Using her knowledge gained from working in front line support, Jodie has been implementing her own ideas to improve the helpdesk service.
Jodie says:
“I couldn’t quite believe it when I heard the news. It was only two years ago that I started my QA Apprenticeship Programme and seeing how much I’ve grown, not only professionally but personally too, is rewarding enough for me.”

Jodie forms a core part of the tech savvy squad here at Escone and together with a wealth of experience, she has evolved hugely as a person. Her work ethic, willingness to learn and ability to adapt has seen her oversee training for employees as well as liaising with third party vendors demonstrating her growth in both a personal and professional capacity”.
Also shortlisted in this award category is Emma Clark of ITC Hydraulic Services Ltd, Peter Knight of Stagecoach Bluebird and Craig Roberts of Sport Aberdeen. The winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony on Friday, February 11th 2022 at P&J live – watch this space!
